About Shear Elegance Pet Services
Lynne Karli has owned and operated Shear Elegance Pet Services since 1980. She graduated from Pedigree Professional School for Dog Grooming located in Lynn, MA in 1979.
Lynne has been involved in community based activities in the town of Franklin such as: Judge for the Pet-Photo Contest, donated her grooming skills at the Franklin Dog Pound to ensure their health and possible adoption, groomed for the Maltese Rescue in Franklin for many years and assisted in evaluating the dogs for potential adoptions, donated her time to help with the dogs living in the Elderly Community in Franklin and has adopted into her home many dogs in need of homes over twenty-six years. Lynne also donates gift certificates to help with fund raising in local schools.
Lynne has also received her Veterinary Assisting Certificate from Holliston Junior College where she continued on to an extern-ship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA and stayed on as a Veterinary Assist for two years. One of Lynne's passions while working at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital was making sure that all of the sick dogs that she came in contact with were as comfortable as possible. This sparked her love for grooming and she decided that making dogs more comfortable was her mission in life.
Lynne's love for not only the comfort of every dog she grooms but also the full understanding and open communication with her "human customers" is all part of her everyday joy.
